WHAT IS SOLAR THERMAL ENERGY?
Solar Energy is the main source of energy for Earth and Renewable Energy par excellence. It is an abundant, free and unlimited energy.
Concentrating and retaining the heat supplied by the Sun through the so-called "greenhouse effect", heat is obtained directly from solar radiation.
APPLICATIONS
- Sanitary Hot Water Heating (ACS): The total or partial production of hot water required for a building is the most popular application of solar thermal energy. The Technical Building Code (CTE), applicable in new buildings and major reforms, requires the installation of such systems.
- Support for heating, pool heating,...: The inclusion of solar thermal energy systems as a complement to other heat-obtaining equipment (electricity, gas or, also, biomass) forms a widely used solution since it is possible to optimize the solar collection performance once this saves fuel from the whole system.
